Growing and expanding optometry practice seeks an experienced and professional optometric technician/assistant. The mission of our practice is to provide a remarkable experience from beginning to end and to serve our patients as efficiently and courteously as possible. The right candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette. We have a full time position available STARTING ASAP.Preferred Experience & Abilities:Previous front desk medical office experience.Experience verifying insurance and obtaining referrals.Ability to use scheduling software.Experience confirming appointments.Experience greeting, checking-in and checking-out patients, making appointments, and answering multiple phone lines.Experience posting office charges and copayments.Mandatory Qualifications: Must be friendly and professional with a desire to provide an optimal patient experience.Solid organizational skills are necessary.The ability to follow-up and complete tasks is essential.Ability to multi-task and perform other general office responsibilities as needed and directed by manager or physician.Must be reliableMust be able to work SaturdaysMust be able to work some days until 8 PM.
