Radiology - Breast Physician

Orlando Health is starting a Diagnostic Radiology Residency program and is seeking on-site, full-time, ABR certified, fellowship trained Breast Imagers . This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next generation of radiologists while practicing within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary oncology environment.

Our Breast Imaging faculty are integral members of the multidisciplinary cancer care team and actively participate in weekly tumor boards alongside breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and pathologists. Faculty members will contribute to the education of medical students and residents while helping expand a growing academic and clinical breast imaging program.

The Orlando Health Cancer Institute includes eight sites of care throughout Central Florida, each offering comprehensive radiology capabilities and developing full-spectrum breast care services including imaging, surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation oncology.

In 2025, Orlando Health Breast Imaging Radiologists interpreted more than 58,000 screening mammograms and nearly 17,000 diagnostic mammograms, reflecting the strength and growth of our breast imaging program.

Responsibilities

• Interpret screening and diagnostic breast imaging studies
• Perform image-guided breast procedures including Stereotactic biopsies, Breast MRI procedures, and Ultrasound-guided procedures
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences and tumor boards
• Teach and mentor residents and medical students
• Collaborate across oncology and surgical specialties
• Participate in departmental and health system committees as requested by leadership
• Research and scholarly activity will be supported and encouraged

Ideal Candidate

• ABR-certified Radiologist
• Completion of a Breast Imaging Fellowship + Diagnostic Radiology Residency at an ACGME or AOA accredited program
• Expertise in all breast imaging modalities and image-guided interventions
• New fellows and those with interest in teaching are welcome to apply

Financial Package

• Clinic shifts will be onsite, and academic time can be done remotely or onsite.
