Structural Welding Technician
Where: Weatherford, TX | Pay: $19–22/hr | Shifts: 1st or 2nd (overtime available)
Is this you?- Do you read blueprints with confidence and translate them into clean, accurate welds?
- Are you adept with MIG and STICK, comfortable welding flat, vertical, and overhead?
- Do you keep a spotless, safe work area and wear the right PPE every time?
- Can you work solo or mesh with a team to hit quality and schedule targets?
- Prepare workstations: set up equipment and choose appropriate materials
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Execute production welding with MIG and STICK across multiple positions
- Inspect and verify welds against specs and quality benchmarks
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Follow OSHA-aligned safety procedures and maintain a clean environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of professional welding experience
- Blueprint and schematic literacy
- Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable with physically demanding work
- Tape measure reading
- Welding setups for production
- Blueprint reading
