Job Title – Production Floor Coordinator

Location – 6540 Franz Warner Pkwy, Whitsett, NC 27377

Contract – 12 months contract (possibility to go perm)

Pay Rate – $24 USD hourly on W2

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Description:

• A Production Floor Coordinator acts as the direct link between the production schedule and the warehouse floor. Their primary goal is to keep the manufacturing process moving without interruptions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Workflow Tracking: Monitoring the daily schedule to ensure production targets are met on time.
• Material Coordination: Ensuring all necessary raw materials and tools are at the workstations before they are needed.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying bottlenecks or equipment failures and reassigning resources to fix them quickly.
• Reporting: Updating management on output numbers, delays, or safety incidents.
• Quality Oversight: Ensuring the team follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Top 3 Skills Logistics: Managing the flow of goods and people in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Clearly relaying instructions between management and operators.
• ERP Knowledge: Proficiency in tracking software (like SAP, Oracle, or Fishbowl).

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years relevant experience.

Skills:

• Knowledge of quality tools like PDCA, FMEA, and 8D ; advanced knowledge/certification in Lean Six Sigma(Yellow or Greenbelt) ; advanced knowledge of the Office package ; and strong attention to detail.
