Helping Our People Excel Community Development Corp (HOPE CDC) is hiring an Employment Training Specialist to lead our innovative six-week workforce training cohorts in the Austin community. This full-time position focuses on delivering intensive job readiness training, career counseling, and employment placement services to individuals facing barriers to employment. Key Responsibilities Design and facilitate comprehensive six-week workforce training cohorts Provide individual career counseling and case management Build employer relationships and coordinate job placement opportunities Manage program logistics and multiple overlapping cohorts Deliver life skills training and professional development workshops Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or related field; minimum 2 years workforce development experience; strong group facilitation skills; valid driver’s license What We Offer Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in community workforce development.
