As a Security Officer - Overnight Access Control in Goodyear, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to support badge access and communicate professionally while helping maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and delivery records.
• Control access to designated areas, issue and retrieve visitor badges and temporary credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
