Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Orthopedics Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 345 – 3-time Magnet Designation Number of Staff – float pool is about 80 Type of staff: Day Shift – RN and CNAs on most units Night Shift – RNs and CNAs on most units Patient Ratios – 1:5 days and nights varies between units, estimated ratios not guaranteed Types of equipment - various EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have Minimum 1-year current acute care Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience BLS Preferred or nice to have ACL. Chemo Certification (would be able to schedule on our Oncology unit) List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Joint replacements and fracture repairs Spinal injuries Best personality Fit: Flexibility and willingness to float Team player and compassion is a must Great leaning opportunity to learn to care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic.
