Overview of Position: Notre Dame High School is seeking a passionate and experienced Girls Basketball Coach to lead and develop our program. The ideal candidate will focus on player development, team success, and fostering a culture of excellence. Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead all practices, games, and team-related activities.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for skill development and conditioning.
- Supervise and mentor assistant coaches and staff.
- Instill discipline, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic in student-athletes.
- Ensure compliance with CIF regulations and school policies.
- Organize team schedules, transportation, and logistics in coordination with the athletic department.
- Assist student-athletes with college recruitment opportunities.
- Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and school administration.
- Previous coaching experience at high school, club, or collegiate level preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of volleyball techniques and strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
- Must complete required certifications, including CPR and First Aid.
