Registered Nurse - Epilepsy Monitor Unit

Role Overview The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care during a patient's hospital stay, assessing, managing, and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Conducts patient assessments, documents findings, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, administers medications, and educates patients and families. Recognizes changes in patient condition, implements appropriate interventions, and ensures safety and infection control standards. Provides specialized care for high-risk patients, manages pain and abuse assessments, and maintains professional accountability. Qualifications & Skills Valid RN license in the relevant state, current BLS certification, and adherence to safety, infection control, and performance standards. Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism. Additional Duties Participates in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and departmental initiatives. Maintains a safe, respectful environment, delivers compassionate service, and upholds confidentiality.
