Tax Accountant – Farmington, CT (on-site) Pay: $25-31/hr, depending on experience. Type: Contract, chance for permanent hire. Seeking a Tax Accountant to maintain tax records and prepare tax returns, related schedules, and reports. Ideal candidates will have experience in the Tax Exempt sector, including preparing Form 99, and possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Responsibilities Maintain tax records and prepare local, state, and federal tax returns Prepare work papers and related schedules for tax filings Assist and support tax accountants and other professionals with taxation matters Organize and manage tax documentation, reports, and statements Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Tax Exempt experience preferred Experience preparing Form 99 Strong communication skills — both oral and written Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
