Pre-K Assistant Teacher: Part-Time to Full-Time Growth

Mountain Hill School is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to start in September 2026 who would like the opportunity to work as a Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher at our private preschool. This position is officially part-time, but potentially full-time. Our school offers a great environment with happy teachers and happy students. We have a team teaching environment with a very supportive administration and an aesthetically beautiful campus and offer competitive hourly pay. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting. Ability to relate well to children, colleagues, and families in a professional setting. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with working in a preschool setting (lifting, sitting on the floor, flexible with outdoor setting in varied temperatures). Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Knowledge and ability to support young students social and emotional needs. The starting position as an assistant teacher could lead to a Head Teaching position if the candidate has a 4-Year degree in P-3 Education, or in a related major with a minor in Education or a CDA certification.
