Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Full Time

Favia Family Dental is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our practice full-time. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, educating patients on oral health, and helping create a welcoming dental experience, we'd love to meet you!

Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist at Favia Family Dental, you will:

• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and fluoride treatments
• Take and review digital radiographs
• Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Follow infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Build strong patient relationships that promote long-term oral health
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and exceptional patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Dental Hygienist License
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Experience with digital radiography and dental software preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding patient care
