Responsibilities
Role Summary: Accountable for executing the growth strategy, direct P&L responsibility and overall goal execution of one SCAH facility.
Key Roles:
- Clinical Quality and Patient Safety: Champion SCAH's HRO journey with responsibility to ensure leaders, teams and physicians achieve clinical excellence and drive zero harm through adoption and standardization of Clinical Quality standards.
- Facility Partnership Performance: Leads, mentors and develops a high‑performing facility team of clinical and operational professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive excellent clinical quality and maintain a zero patient harm culture.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians to meet patient needs and exceed expectations.
- Build and manage a high‑performing clinician team to deliver excellent patient care.
- Partner with Medical Executive Committee, governing bodies and board of managers to develop and implement clinical guidelines.
- Develop and manage a team of clinical and business professionals focused on quality outcomes, volume growth, labor efficiencies, supply chain management and revenue cycle optimization.
- Use effective hiring and development processes with sound judgment to ensure a high‑performing team.
- Provide teammates with authority, accountability, training, information and resources.
- Communicate with confidence, setting clear expectations.
- Create a vision and momentum that leads others to embrace change.
- Build a highly committed management team at the center.
- Assess, attract, retain and develop personnel to meet performance expectations and future needs.
- Manage on‑site personnel director responsibilities and resolve complaints and grievances promptly.
- Drive top‑line growth and cultivate physician relationships.
- Own and be accountable for organic top‑line growth through volume increases, strategic service line growth, new physician recruitment and increased volume from existing physicians.
- Design and execute physician recruitment and marketing programs to grow case volume through partnerships.
- Initiate, develop and maintain strong physician relationships to support growth and governance.
- Recommend, develop and execute strategic plans that drive best‑in‑class clinical, financial and operational results.
- Partner with regional leads and other SCA leaders to design and implement growth initiatives and operational effectiveness opportunities.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives.
- Manage the center’s P&L, including financial controls and reporting.
- Implement and maintain annual strategic business plans that serve the partnership and local market dynamics.
- Collaborate with SCA corporate departments to identify and implement best practices in clinical quality, volume growth and operational excellence.
- Safeguard the center’s assets and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Oversee facility management, life safety codes and environment of care requirements.
- Maintain operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Provide support for medical records, credentialing, admissions, accounts payable, billing, collections, insurance verification, transaction posting, clinical logs and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Education Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience will be considered.
Experience: Minimum 4‑5 years of experience in healthcare, with 2+ years of leadership within surgical services or multi‑site healthcare settings.
Salary: USD $135,000.00 per year to USD $150,000.00 per year.
