Job Details Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN Location: Kinston, NC Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Hours Per Week: 36 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840 Orientation: 24 hours Weekend Coverage: Required Charting System: Epic experience required Setting: Busy Emergency Department with 34 beds and high-volume patient flow Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience required Epic charting experience required BLS certification required ACLS certification required PALS certification required CPI certification required NIH Stroke certification required Strong clinical skills in high-acuity, fast-paced, mixed-age emergency care Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and a self-scheduling environment Comfortable floating to like acuities or lower-acuity areas when needed Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization in a fast-paced ED setting Support care for medical, behavioral health, and trauma-related presentations Administer emergency medications, IV therapy, and other bedside interventions Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias as part of patient care Assist with procedural sedation, stroke response, and other critical ED workflows Collaborate with providers, respiratory therapy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary team members Use Epic and Pyxis efficiently to support safe and accurate patient care Maintain a calm, professional approach while caring for a high-volume patient population Why Consider This Travel RN Role?
