Multicraft Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance TechnicianWe are looking for an experienced technician who will perform preventative maintenance, shutdown maintenance and repair duties for the Facilities Technology Team to ensure the assigned unit remains in operating form.Technician Responsibilities Are:Perform all work safely and according to company standardsWork well with others within the team and throughout the organizationRegular attendance is an essential function of the positionPerform mechanical/electrical maintenance duties safely, professionally, and to standard while following all company and regulatory safe work and housekeeping practicesRequired to document all maintenance activities in Hankook's maintenance systemParticipate in and support Hankook's continuous improvement programs to include 5SDevelop and maintain a partnership approach to operations, quality, and EHSMaintain knowledge of the machines and remain up to date on predictive and preventive maintenance guidelinesPerform work from blueprints, sketches, or specificationsPerform welding and fabrication as requiredDiagnose problems with existing equipment/machineryUse of computer systems to perform diagnostics on electrical components and PLC systemPerform other duties as assigned by managementTechnician Requirements Are:Education:(Required) high school diploma or GEDExperience:(Required) 1+ years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial environment or completion of a 2-year accredited Industrial Maintenance Certification programLanguage:(Required) good command of written and spoken EnglishSkills & Knowledge:Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceOperations Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properlyProduction and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goodsCritical Thinking Skills - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problemsSpeaking - Talking to others to convey information effectivelyWriting - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audienceActive Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate timesReading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documentsPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; to reach with hands and arms; and to talk and hearMobility throughout the facilityWorking in warm temperatures with no air condition, working outside at times during cold weatherEmployee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, walk, crouch or crawlEmployee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basisWorking at heights of 10 feet or greater, operating lifting devices, and entering confined spacesSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focusBenefits:401(k), 401(k) matchingHealth insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysHankook Tire is an equal opportunity employer.
