Job Requirements Certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education as a Middle Grades Mathematics Teacher, Grades 5‑8. Preference will be given to candidates who hold or can demonstrate progress toward an English as a Second Language certification issued by the Rhode Island Department of Education. Preference will be given to applicants who meet the Awareness or Proficiency requirement per the RI Right to Read Act. Applicants must provide a cover letter, current resume, and three recent professional letters of reference. Background check with fingerprinting is required; a national criminal background check must be obtained with fingerprinting at the State Attorney General's Office.
