They are responsible for creating day‑making experiences through delivering unparalleled guest service, making world‑class hand‑crafted beverages, and bringing the purpose and values of Caribou to life in every interaction. Core Responsibilities Develop personal, ongoing relationships with guests. Practice active listening and connection. Anticipate guest needs and proactively solve opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality. Make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests. Create day‑making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good. Hand‑craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures. Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings per procedures. Float between barista and guest service roles and willingly fulfill all team member responsibilities. Take guest orders, manage cash drawer, and follow all cash handling policies. Maintain the look and feel of a well‑run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards. Actively think and act upon what the team and guest will need in the future. Differentiate problems that can be solved directly from those requiring leader support. Understand that the team manages multiple priorities and willingly take direction from leaders. Show the core values: support one another, make fun happen, be yourself, take ownership, and serve with love. Bring joy to every interaction and be a reliable team player. Skills and Qualifications Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, holidays, and/or weekends. Minimum age: 16 years. Preferred: experience in restaurant, retail, or guest service. Physical Requirements Seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Sitting, standing, and bending for 4 to 8 hours intermittently during working hours. Accomplishing duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
