Working within Schwab Technology Services, you will design and enhance automated testing solutions that ensure reliability, performance, and quality across native mobile applications.Using test automation, quality assurance, software development, problem solving, collaboration, communication, continuous improvement, and leadership skills, you will help accelerate delivery, improve client experiences, and promote confidence in every mobile release. Your work will directly support innovative mobile capabilities ranging from account management to complex trading experiences.You will collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and technology partners in an agile environment while continuing to grow your expertise in mobile platforms, quality engineering, automation frameworks, and modern development practices.What you haveRequired QualificationsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain automated testing solutions using Test Automation skillsAbility to apply Quality Assurance practices to validate functionality, reliability, and release readinessStrong Software Development capability using Java or comparable object-oriented programming languagesDemonstrated Problem Solving skills to identify root causes and resolve complex quality issuesAbility to collaborate effectively within Agile teams and across technical and business stakeholdersStrong Communication skills used to explain testing status, quality risks, and recommendationsAbility to improve testing processes through Continuous Improvement practicesDemonstrated leadership behaviors including mentoring, coordination, and influencePreferred QualificationsExperience supporting mobile application testing across iOS and Android platformsExperience with Appium, XCUI, Espresso, CI/CD practices, or related testing technologiesExperience using quality metrics and test coverage analysis to improve delivery outcomesExperience supporting distributed Agile teamsFinancial services, trading platform, or highly regulated industry experienceExperience adopting emerging testing technologies and AI-assisted development toolsLearning OpportunitiesIn this role, you will strengthen your expertise in:Advanced mobile automation frameworks and test architectureQuality engineering strategy and risk-based testing approachesAgile delivery and release management practicesAI-assisted engineering workflows and test developmentCross-functional leadership and stakeholder communicationMobile platform quality, performance, and reliability engineeringSkill Development ValuesAt Schwab, we believe skills can be developed through meaningful work, collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
