Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with 12+ years of experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SOAP Services, and React , along with experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud-ready microservices architectures. Candidates with mainframe modernization experience are highly preferred.

Role and Responsibilities:

Design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
Architect and implement Java/Spring Boot microservices-based solutions.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
Review existing mainframe applications and define modernization strategies using APIs and microservices.
Design reusable, resilient, and maintainable application architecture.
Guide development teams on architecture best practices and coding standards.
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Participate in architecture reviews and technical governance.

Qualifications:
12-16+ years of enterprise application architecture and development experience. Proven experience leading modernization initiatives from monolithic/mainframe systems to microservices. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Nice to Have:
Mainframe modernization experience Mainframe technologies (COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2) Legacy application modernization
Required Skills:
12+ years of Java application development and architecture experience Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot Microservices Architecture REST APIs SOAP Web Services React Enterprise Application Architecture API Design & Integration Application Modernization Distributed Systems Cloud-ready Architecture CI/CD Git Maven/Gradle
