Knight Transportation is looking for a  highly motivated sales and customer service focused individual to join the Driver Recruiting team . In this role, you’ll be contacting inbound leads who are wanting to drive for Knight. It is your responsibility to pre-qualify the driver, answer questions, inform about our driving routes & pay, and ultimately sell them on Knight’s culture and benefits. 

To be successful in this role, you should be self-motivated, driven by performance-based incentives, results oriented, outgoing and personable. 

Pay Range:  $20-$24 hourly + uncapped commission through the Driver Recruiter Commissions Program.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and SELL our company culture and benefits  
• Contact all new leads the day they are received using 3 methods of contact (Phone, Email, Text)
• Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, pay, and specialty and dedicated opportunities
• Establish rapport with potential driving associates by seeking to understand their career goals and interests
• Guide the driver through the hiring process from lead to hire

Qualifications:

• Customer service background in a sales-oriented environment
• Inside Sales- recruiter experience 
• Telephone sales experience
• Food Service experience a plus 
• Retail experience a plus
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred
