About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room / PACU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room / Circulate, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU), Perioperative Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4 10's, Day Shift, with shared on-call rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in SSSU/PACU/PRE/POST License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion Charge nurse experience preferred Description: We are recruiting for an RN to start as soon as possible. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts with a variable schedule and a shared on-call rotation for the PACU. A minimum of two years of experience in SSSU, PACU, Pre-operative, and Post-operative settings is required. Nursing care duties include floating to various outpatient service areas. These areas may include day surgery, endoscopy lab, post-anesthesia care unit, and pre-operative clinic. The role requires skills in nursing assessment, including peri-operative education and care. Candidates must be able to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
