Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Required to float between units
• No call requirements

Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Active Texas PT license
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC certification)
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a physical therapist
• At least 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab
• EMR Medhost experience preferred
• Able to wear solid color scrubs
• Graduates or PTAs not eligible for this assignment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapy interventions to restore mobility, reduce pain, and support wellness goals
• Educate patients and families in exercise, mobility, and injury prevention strategies
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document assessments and progress in the EMR system
