Structural Quality Engineer (PE is Required)

• 401(k) eligibility after one yearKEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop and execute supplier qualification programs
• Oversee Quality Management Systems (QMS) on large infrastructure projects
• Write and improve Quality Assurance (QA) programs for agency clients
• Review fabrication, manufacturing, and engineering drawings
• Review design plans and provide technical recommendations
• Develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Investigate and resolve quality nonconformance issues
• Review welding documentation, including WPS, PQR, and WQTR
• Deliver quality and technical training to clients
• Interpret industry codes, standards, and contract requirements
• Develop technical specifications, inspection procedures, and quality documentationQUALIFICATIONS• Experience in quality management within construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or infrastructure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work directly with clients and project stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to travel up to 50%PREFERRED EXPERIENCE• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
• 5+ years leading Quality Management Systems in fabrication or construction
• 3+ years of engineering experience on transportation or transit projects
