Make an impact this school year by supporting students and staff as a skilled Behavioral Specialist in a full-time, onsite contract role near Minneapolis, MN. As a valued member of the school community, you'll apply your expertise in behavior analysis to develop positive outcomes for students and facilitate collaboration among families, school personnel, and other service providers.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state license in a related discipline: valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license issued by the Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB)
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (nationally certified) or currently in the process of obtaining certification
- Experience performing behavioral assessments and interpreting results
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, educators, and community partners
- Knowledge of state and district-specific requirements preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments for students, gathering and analyzing data to identify needs
- Provide expert analysis and interpretation of assessment results to parents, school staff, and outside providers
- Develop and recommend evidence-based intervention strategies to improve student outcomes
- Collaborate with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams and participate in student support meetings
- Deliver training, consultation, and support to educators and staff regarding behavior management techniques
