A Day in the Role

You’ll meet your lead electrician on-site, help stage the work area, organize tools, and walk through the plan for the day. As tasks unfold, you’ll assist with installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs, practice reading simple diagrams under guidance, run basic wiring, perform circuit checks, and wrap up by returning tools and leaving the site neat and safe.

What You’ll Do

• Support licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Set up and break down job sites, keeping work areas orderly and safe.
• Load, carry, and return tools, materials, and equipment as needed between locations.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams under mentorship.
• Perform basic tasks like wiring and circuit testing as directed.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors to keep projects on track.
