Refugee Case Manager

$21.15 per hour

What You Will Do The Refugee Case Manager is a non‑exempt position responsible for the provision of services to refugees and eligible clients that lead to their social integration into life in the United States. The role includes completing enrollments, assessments, client eligibility determinations, and client data collection to help refugees and their families achieve successful integration. Enroll eligible clients by completing necessary forms. Provide orientation to newly enrolled clients. Assist refugees in developing individualized service plans for self‑sufficiency. Conduct quarterly assessments of the plans. Provide case management services to enrolled refugees. Determine needs for medical, legal, mental health, educational, and social services. Assist clients with enrolling in services aligned with their service plans. Assess transportation needs and provide transportation as needed. Accompany refugees to appointments. Maintain and document case files in accordance with funder regulations and agency requirements. Prepare and document financial assistance provided toward client goals. Complete funder and agency forms. Ensure adherence to grant guidelines and meet deadline dates. Perform other related duties as requested by the Program Manager and Director of Refugee Services. Previous experience working with refugees and immigrants preferred. At least two (2) years of successful relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and life experience required. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Ability to interact professionally, courteously, and efficiently with community partners, clients, and other employees. Ability to work under stressful client situations and exposure to client trauma. Bilingual experience, preferably in languages most spoken by clients (English/Ukrainian).
