CNC Lathe Machinist Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $28 - $35 per hour Job Details This will be a 2nd shift opportunity! The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision components. This role involves working from blueprints, selecting tooling, and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathe machines for production runs Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Select, install, and adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Troubleshoot basic machining or tooling issues Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications 3+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials Experience holding tight tolerances in a production environment A bit about us: Come join a well-established Aerospace manufacturer specializing in high-precision components used in hydraulic and fluid system applications across various markets.
