Analyze game performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in shuffling techniques and overall game mechanics. Develop and maintain robust testing frameworks to ensure the integrity of shuffling processes across various gaming platforms. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality and maintainability. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shuffling algorithms, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in gaming technology to continuously improve shuffling methods. Work closely with the QA team to design and execute comprehensive test cases that validate shuffling functionality. Document processes and algorithms clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and across departments. Assist in the training of junior team members, sharing best practices and insights into shuffling techniques. Engage in regular brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas that can enhance the overall gaming experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate shuffling features into new game releases and updates. Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of the shuffling process. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably within the gaming industry. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures. Experience with game development frameworks and engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine. Familiarity with random number generation and shuffling algorithms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is a plus. Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance standards is advantageous. Nice to have Previous experience in a similar role within a reputable gaming company. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools. Experience with cloud-based gaming solutions and platforms. Understanding of user experience (UX) principles as they relate to gaming. Knowledge of machine learning techniques as they apply to gaming algorithms.
