Welder - Sterling Heights, Michigan Afternoon Shift - Contract RolePay Rate: approximately $25.00 per hour Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 2:00am (NO SATURDAY WORK REQUIRED)Description of the Welder: To be able to weld weldment with various types of applications according to company and/or customer specifications.Weld details according to company and/or customer specifications determined by SupervisorService shop floor welding requests in a timely mannerKeep an updated materials and supply inventoryPerforms maintenance on equipment or machinery as required. Inform supervisor if equipment or machinery fails or requires repairs beyond capabilitiesRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this jobAdheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvementEducation requirements of the Welder: Must be a high school graduate or have a GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
