Commercial Marketing Associate, American Girl

Opportunity CREATIVITY IS OUR SUPERPOWER. Mattel is looking for a Marketing Associate to support integrated marketing strategy, planning, insights, and omnichannel execution for American Girl. The successful candidate will drive campaign planning, support sales growth across all channels, and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives. Impact Marketing Strategy: Partner with the Marketing Manager to develop omnichannel strategy and briefs across American Girl sub‑brands. Define target audiences, positioning, messaging, KPIs, and create overarching marketing plans with timelines and responsibilities. Promotional Strategy & Execution: Lead yearly promotional timelines, present strategies to leadership, collaborate with Analytics for forecasts, and work with E‑commerce and Retail teams to execute promotions. Catalog Strategy & Execution: Build American Girl catalog plans, including SKUs, timing, audience size, page count, and lead creation of content with Creative and external agencies. Channel Execution: Manage day‑to‑day rollouts across assigned segments, monitor sales performance, analyze data to adjust plans, and facilitate cross‑functional meetings. Requirements 1 – 3+ years of marketing experience in multi‑channel Retail or Consumer Products. Experience in integrated marketing across paid media, e‑commerce, retail stores, email, social, print/direct mail. Excellent written and verbal communication, time‑management, and quantitative/analytical skills. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; ability to build compelling visual marketing presentations.
