Infusion RN

Overview This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. position with no weekends, on‑call duties, or major holidays. The role is open at Level 1, Level 2, or Senior levels based on experience and qualifications. Location: South Austin with occasional support at Lakeway. Responsibilities Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices. Assess patient and family needs and provide teaching and instructional material. Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction. Administer all medications and blood products using correct dosage, route, time, and technique. Ensure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained before therapy administration. Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient status, labs, protocols, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage changes and symptom management. Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments provided. Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture. Qualifications Level 1 Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Valid RN state license and current registration with the state board in the practicing state. 0–3 years of nursing experience, preferably at least one year in oncology. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Level 2 (in addition to Level 1 requirements) 3–5 years of nursing experience. Oncology certification preferred. Level Senior (in addition to Level 1 and Level 2 requirements) Five years of nursing experience.
