Salary: $120000 - $130000 / year + Benefits JOB LOCATION: Menlo Park, CA START DATE: IMMEDIATE FILL PAY: $120,000 – $130,000+ per year (1) + Benefits (2) Employment Type: Full-Time Employee Rotation: Will work a rotating schedule of 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off Schedule: 12 hours per day during on duty rotation (1) Compensation depends on experience; salary is annualized but paid on an hourly rate of $49 – $51 per hour for anticipated shifts on rotation. O/T opportunities available and paid at time-and-a-half of the hourly rate. Holiday pay is double the hourly rate and includes New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Employer is seeking Low-Profile Close Protection Agents (male and female) for Full-Time Employment within Menlo Park, California . Occasional domestic and international travel will be required as well. Only highly experienced candidates who possess at least 5+ years of military and/or law enforcement and experience in protective operations will be considered for this role. This is a long-term client need. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: – Perform mobile and static low profile protection and counter surveillance – Conduct advance work and and report on gathered intelligence – Conduct vehicle checks to include service, wash, and fuel – Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise – Practice OPSEC and COMSEC with sensitive and confidential material – Participate in recurring protective operations training to include medical, firearms, and other related training – Flex and adapt as needed based on client needs – Competently respond to any situation that may arise – Operate as part of a multi-faceted team – Travel in support of protective operations advances, both domestically and internationally – Work weekends, late hours and holidays MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: – Must live within 60 miles of Menlo Park, CA or be willing to relocate – Must have 5+ years combined experience from either military and/or law enforcement as well as experience in protective operations – Possess a current BSIS Guard Card issued by the state of California (employer may sponsor this for very strong candidates) – Have a strong working knowledge in protective operations – Have strong working knowledge of technology-based protective security applications – Physically fit (candidate must pass a physical fitness test) and maintain a clean and sharp appearance – Must be able to brief, persuade, and instruct others on security requirements and policies – Have experience writing AAR’s – Proactive and possess a high-degree of professionalism, responsibility and maturity – Pass a background check (no misdemeanors, felonies or other criminal charges) – Pass pre-employment drug screening and periodic, random drug screenings throughout employment – Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (requirement may be waived for very experienced candidates) – Possess a current US Passport – Must have a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: – Candidates with prior backgrounds in a SOF or combat arms MOS are highly desired – Candidates with prior backgrounds as a 18D, Navy Corpsman, Paramedic, etc. are highly desired– Prior attendance of a recognized Executive Protection Course (i.e. ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT) – CPR/AED Certified LISTEN: Stars & Stripes “Force for Hire” Podcast – Episode 2: Soldier turned contractor talks Blackwater training, Iraq mission Episode 7: Leveraging military skills, expertise to forge a new career Subscribe to receive our Weekly Security SITREP #J-18808-Ljbffr
