** Salaried Position

** 1st Shift: 7:00AM-5:00PM *hours may vary, flexibility needed, Warehouse operations include 2nd Shift

Summary

Responsible for management of warehouse associates in all departments: Inventory Control, Packout, and Shipping & Receiving. Warehouse manager will complete various management, organization, and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the company’s storage and shipment processes. Responsible for the oversight of restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing, and packing orders, counting inventory, and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. Responsible for following all safety, SOP, SSOP, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/hygiene policies.

Salaried position, willing to be flexible when it comes to availability, able to cooperate with management to work when needed.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
• Establish practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
• Set warehouse team goals in collaboration with management and other team leads
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee performance
• Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
• Ensure proper GMPS, SSOP’s and other good manufacturing practices are being carried out
• Supervise and facilitate all warehouse departments
• Adhere to all company GMPs, SQF requirements, SSOPs and any other safety policies and procedures

• Management Experience
• Warehouse Experience
• Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage conflict
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Great interpersonal skills
• Good project management skills, including strong decision-making and problem-solving
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office® with emphasis on Excel®

Requirements and Experience

• Warehouse experience: 5 years (Preferred)
• Managerial experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of the GMP, HACCP, and SQF program is preferred
• Must be legally eligible for employment in the United States
• Must wear all proper protective equipment
• Must have consistent transportation to and from work to accommodate shifts ending at different times
• Work in constant cold temperatures (0 to 40 F0)
• Able to understand simple verbal and written instructions in English
• Pass physical and drug test
• Compliance with all safety rules
• Overtime as required

Must dress warm for this job. Wear multiple layers of clothes/socks! Will be working in 0-40 degrees F.
