Staff RN Float Pool

Position Overview Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, preventing illness and injury, and alleviating suffering through diagnosis and treatment and advocacy in the care of individuals and families. Responsibilities include compliance to all standards of practice and professional development per the NewYork State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services and Nursing Division policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Emergency Nursing Association Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights. The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient‑centered care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Move to different units where needed. Keep close eye on patient vital signs and respond when needed. Collaborate with the healthcare crew to provide exceptional patient care. Administer medications and provide patient education. Qualifications Valid RN license. 2years of bedside nursing experience. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Previous telemetry nursing experience preferred. Compensation & Schedule Schedule: 12‑hour shifts; every other weekend. Compensation Range: $44.77 - $67.15 per hour, depending on experience.
