Coating Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Coating Operator to join our 1st shift team. The Coating Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining coating equipment to ensure the production of materials that meet our exacting standards and specifications.

Responsibilities Include:

• Setting up and operating coating machines according to established procedures and job specifications.
• Monitoring machine operations, including material flow, coating thickness, and drying processes.
• Performing quality checks on coated materials to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Making necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimize performance and ensure product quality.
• Maintaining accurate production records, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborating with other production team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel.
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Coating Operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand machine operations and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and work orders.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal, with precision.
• Solid understanding of safety procedures and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to [Specify weight, e.g., 50 pounds], and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and navigating machine interfaces.
