2nd Shift Assistant Team Leader

Job Description Hands on supervision role. Lead a team of operators to meet production objectives. Make daily decisions to ensure safety and quality requirements are met. Responsible for daily operations and coaching.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a team as a source of calm, confidence, and technical knowledge. Ensure safety is the number one priority on the production floor. Execute a production plan, including daily metrics and weekly inventory. Supervise, mentor, and train a team of 4 to 5 operators. Work directly with maintenance in troubleshooting equipment. Become a process expert, able to step in to any role in the department and support your team. Associate’s degree in business/technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional communication skills and attitude. 2 years of related work experience, with progressive levels of responsibilities. Experienced team builder and coach. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a basic level of computer skill (Word, Outlook) Able to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments Experience using statistical process control techniques Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis Standing, walking while performing duties Occasionally required to climb, stoop, or kneel Frequently required to operate a fork truck, hand truck, and overhead crane

WORKING SCHEDULE

3 pm – 11:30 pm Overtime and weekends as required.

COMPENSATION
