This role ensures the timely and cost-effective execution of manufacturing plans. Job Responsibilities \* Develop and maintain production schedules for various product lines, considering capacity, material availability, and customer delivery requirements. \* Monitor production progress against plans, identifying and resolving any deviations or bottlenecks to ensure on-time delivery. \* Collaborate with sales, engineering, and procurement departments to align production plans with demand forecasts, new product introductions, and material supply. \* Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize excess and avoid stockouts. \* Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate production orders, track material movements, and update production statuses. \* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, lead time reduction, and inventory optimization. \* Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. \* Communicate production schedules and potential issues clearly and proactively to relevant stakeholders. \* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Job Qualifications \* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred \* 3+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment. \* Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems. \* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. \* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. \* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. \* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.**Required Skills and Education** **About Dauch:**Dauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with a powertrain-agnostic product portfolio that supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
