Accounts Receivable Manager (or Senior Manager)

A client of 6 Degrees Group is hiring for an Accounts Receivable Manager in Marietta, GA.This role owns the entire Order to Cash process — from invoicing and cash application all the way through collections and credit management. You'll be the one driving down DSO, tightening up billing accuracy, and building out AR reporting that actually gives leadership visibility into cash flow. It's a great fit for someone who's led an AR team before and wants to bring more structure, automation, and process discipline to the function. This client operates in a service-based, project-driven environment, so experience with complex billing across multiple service lines will go a long way. Responsibilities: Manage the full Order to Cash lifecycle — contract validation, invoicing, cash application, collections, and credit management Drive collections strategy and DSO reduction through aging oversight, escalations, and close partnership with Sales and Operations Lead dispute resolution and root cause analysis, plus build out customer credit policies and risk assessments Deliver AR reporting and analytics (DSO, aging, forecasting, bad debt trends) and lead process improvement and automation initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 7-10+ years of AR or Order to Cash experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role Background in service-based or project-driven environments (testing, inspection, certification, engineering, or consulting) is a plus Strong ERP knowledge, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, decentralized billing environment If this position is not a perfect fit, please do not hesitate to pass this posting along to anyone else you know that may be interested.
