About this role As a Clinical Manager with Fresenius Medical Care, you will ensure quality patient care is delivered while maintaining clinical operations. You will be the facility leader and part of a collaborative team responsible for delivering unique care plans and providing dialysis treatment to patients with end‑stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease. Training and advancement You will enter our Clinical Leadership Program, which supports continuous learning for managers. The curriculum covers onboarding, essential functions, leading your business, and advanced leadership. Clinical Managers may advance to Area Team Lead or Director of Operations roles. Principal Responsibilities and Duties Clinic Operations Manage the operations of the clinic, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards. Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports. Partner with internal Human Resources, Quality, and Technical Services departments. Collaborate with or function as the Home Therapies Program Manager to oversee the facility's Home Therapies Program. Maintain integrity of medical and operations records and comply with all data collections and auditing activities. Accountable for completion of the Annual Standing Order Review and Internal Classification of Disease (ICD) coding. Manage clinic financials, including efficient utilization of supplies or equipment and regular profit and loss review. Responsible for all required network reporting and on‑site state or federal surveys. Patient Care Coordinate all aspects of patient care with appropriate staff members, from admission through discharge. Ensure patient education regarding quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, and access care. Act as a resource for patients and families to address concerns and questions. Accountable for timely completion of patient care assessments and care plans. Manage patient schedules to ensure facility efficiency and develop action plans for missed treatments. Plan, coordinate, and validate patient eligibility for treatment. Report changes in patient status regarding clinical, insurance, or transportation issues. Staff Participate in selection and hiring of new team members and ensure completion of new hiring orientation and mandatory trainings. Ensure all patient‑care employees complete appropriate training courses and maintain current licensures and certifications. Provide support for all clinical staff at regular intervals and encourage professional growth. Maintain current knowledge of company benefits, policies, procedures, and processes. Complete employee evaluations and establish annual goals. Document disciplinary actions and consult with the clinic Director of Operations and Human Resources when needed. Manage staff scheduling and payroll. Physicians Facilitate physician privilege applications and ensure compliance with Fresenius Medical Care Medical Staff By‑Laws. Maintain strong physician relationships and ensure regular and effective communication. Participate in the governing body, an interdisciplinary team for each region that includes MSWs, Dietitians, MDs, DOs, etc. Education and Required Credentials Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN). Current state licensure. Experience and Skills Required 6 years business operations experience in a healthcare facility. 12 months experience in clinical nursing. 6 months experience in chronic or acute dialysis nursing. Successfully pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test. Preferred 3 years supervisory or project/program management experience. Experience in Med/surg or ICU/CCU. Physical Demands and Working Conditions The position involves desk and computer work, interaction with patients, facility staff, and physicians. Travel between facilities and regional meetings may be required. The work environment is a healthcare facility with controlled temperature and moderate noise. Compensation Annual salary range: $95,202.00 – $158,600.00.
