Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft tailored treatment plans that address both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication skills, language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to establish integrated care approaches.
• Provide education to patients and their families to enhance progress throughout the therapy process.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation that adheres to organizational, state, and federal regulations.
• Commit to continuous learning and professional growth through ongoing education and team collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days from the start date.
