HVAC Technician

Job Overview Field-based service and maintenance professional responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems for commercial buildings within a defined market. Responsibilities Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand on‑site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work. Serve as the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems on the customer’s premises. Use software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units. Maintain safety and security standards, record use, and manage company assets. Provide flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) with at least 5 years of HVAC experience. Technical school training or formal HVAC education preferred. Valid driver’s license 12+ months, no major traffic violations in the past 3 years. EPA Universal Certification (required). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld computers (Smartphone/iPad). Compensation Hourly base pay range: $28.96 - $39.02 (dependent on seniority, merit, location, experience, travel, and union designation). Not eligible for incentive or sales commission.
