This role partners with internal teams to understand the parameters of high-impact maintenance initiatives, translating requirements into optimal solutions.Job Description:Key Responsibilities: Analyze large, complex historical datasets to support the development and refinement of maintenance labor assumptions, productivity benchmarks, and performance metricsIncorporate automation and AI-enabled analytics approaches to improve efficiency and speed of maintenance analysis where possibleBuild and maintain cost-benefit and scenario models to support maintenance facility planning, capacity analysis, and network optimization effortsAnalyze equipment domiciles, service demand, and travel requirements to evaluate total cost and service coverage tradeoffsFacilitate strategic evaluations by preparing data-backed comparisons under varying operational assumptionsIdentify and develop solutions to improve labor productivity, repair variability, and asset performance using technical and quantitative methods; perform root cause and diagnostic analysis to explain performance variation and identify actionable improvement opportunitiesLead collaborations with cross-functional teams to create and implement solutions, ensuring analytical changes are accurately implemented in reporting tools and operational systemsConnect with internal teams to understand stakeholder needsInterpret business issues and requirements to provide optimal solutionsTailor communication of technical information to audiences, translating data into business-focused conclusions for leadersApply in-depth knowledge of business processes and experience to create or improve solutionsLead and/or support projects to accomplish business goalsTrain, mentor, coach, and onboard junior team membersQualifications:Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related fieldAND Demonstration of the followingExperience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, SQL, and/or cloud-based analytics platformsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting maintenance, reliability, or asset-intensive operationsExposure to automation, AI-assisted analytics, or advanced statistical methodsBackground in continuous improvement or operational analysisThis position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.Compensation:Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
