Then it is time for us to make your acquaintance.**RESPONSIBILITIES:* Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T callouts, and manufacturing instructions to perform accurate machining operations.* Perform complete setup, operation, adjustment, and basic programming adjustments of CNC and manual machines for production runs.* Consistently meet or exceed daily/shift production goals while maintaining quality standards.* Perform initial dimensional inspections and in-process quality verifications to verify product conformity throughout the manufacturing process utilizing precision metrology instrumentation. Proficiency in calculating target dimensions and compensation offsets through trigonometric functions is required.* Quickly identify machining issues, tooling wear, or equipment failures, and take immediate corrective action to minimize downtime.* Accurately document production metrics, including output volumes, material scrap rates, equipment downtime, and additional critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing systems.* Actively collaborate with production leads, engineers, and maintenance personnel to resolve bottlenecks and optimize production flow.* Monitor tooling life, recommend tool changes, and adjust feeds/speeds using High Efficiency Milling (HEM) calculation formulas to maintain production efficiency that aligns with our global strategy.* Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles to ensure smooth communication across shifts.* Support 5S, lean manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts aimed at increasing throughput and reducing costs.* Crosstrain and assist in multiple work centers or machines as needed to meet production demands.* Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.* Must be able to work overtime as required.\*This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected. Employee may be asked to perform other duties as required.\*REQUIREMENTS:## Education and Experience:* Technical Trade School or machining apprenticeship certification preferred.* 5+ years of hands-on machining experience in a high-volume production environment (medical, aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors preferred).* Advanced knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain) and manual machining operations.* Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and in-process inspection methods.* Familiarity with production scheduling systems (ERP/MRP) and electronic data entry a plus.* Ability to interpret complex work instructions and adjust processes to meet shifting production priorities.* Strong commitment to safety, quality, and meeting daily/shift production goals.* Ability to work overtime, weekends, and multiple shifts as production needs dictate.**Physical demands:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
