Starbucks Manager-The Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Starbucks Store Manager for our free-standing store located inside the Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport. As the Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of the store by ensuring that customers and team members have a great experience. Your responsibilities will include developing your team, managing team performance, and creating a warm, inclusive, and authentic Starbucks experience.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage employees, understanding employee positions well enough to perform their duties in their absence.
- Responsible for the production, preparation, and stocking of all foods for Starbucks, including the market.
- Create and monitor work schedules for all Starbucks associates, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed.
- Lead the Starbucks team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all Starbucks policies, standards, and procedures through training, supervision, follow-up, and hands-on management.
- Attend and participate in all weekly F&B meetings as established by the F&B Director.
- Supervise and monitor the overall implementation of all mobile orders.
- Follow appropriate purchasing procedures in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Act as a guest service role model for the Food and Beverage department, as well as other departments of the hotel, by maintaining excellent customer service and creating a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
- Manage the maintenance/sanitation of the Starbucks areas and equipment in the store to protect the asset and ensure quality service and product.
- Assist the Director of Food and Beverage with completion of probationary and yearly performance reviews for the Starbucks staff.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Starbucks experience.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience.
- Strong leadership, self-motivation, and team-building skills.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week (at least 5 days per week).
- College or high-level education.
- Willingness to take responsibility and accountability for the team.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays if required.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good listener.
- Empathetic and tolerant.
- Open with praise, discreet with criticism.
