Position Summary: The position is responsible for overseeing the progression of several grants/contracts while adhering to each grant/contract's criteria which includes many different reimbursement methods, with widely varied documentation requirements. This position is also responsible for helping develop budgets and overseeing them for existing, multi-year grants/contracts as well as for up to 50 new grant applications annually for several HPC programs.

Responsibilities Essential Functions

• Responsible for financial analysis and preparing financial information as required by grants/contracts and as requested by Department Managers and Finance Manager as well as state and federal funders.
• Implements and provides staff education and training, as well as updates, on finance policies and procedures to new and existing staff based on regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for analyzing and tracking monthly expenditures to ensure proper allocation and to prepare reports and invoices for multiple funders and programs with different requirements.
• Participate on special projects as assigned & provide budget and grant/contract information to Grant Manager for grant applications for new and existing funding.
• Oversee the preparation of audit documents for Orlando Health auditors and State & Federal auditors.
• Responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial reports and budget analysis.
• Ensures compliance with contract and statutory requirements.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions

• Communicates with all levels of management throughout Orlando Health.
• Attends department meetings and in-services.

Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related required. Licensure/Certification: None. Experience: Two (2) years of directly work experience.
