Knowledge of subarachnoid hemorrhage management

Post-thrombectomy and post-craniotomy management experience

Description: The position entails working as a Registered Nurse in a Neuro ICU. The unit has a high acuity and fast-paced environment. The nurse will provide care for patients with complex neurological conditions. Expected patient ratio is 1:2. The candidate must be capable of managing arterial and central lines. Experience with managing cardiac drips and ventilated patients is essential. Nurses will be involved in the management of post-neurosurgery patients. The ICU supports various interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care. This role requires adherence to strict infection prevention protocols. Strong critical thinking and assessment skills are necessary for this position. Additional responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and interpreting lab results. Candidates must be able to respond effectively to emergencies. The unit treats a variety of diagnoses, including trauma and stroke patients. It is essential to be skilled in using advanced monitoring equipment.
