Job TitlePosition QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GEDExperience/Skills/Abilities: Basic computer skills required, must be able to learn Milbank's shipping systems, M2K and C2K. Experience with UPS World Ship is a plus. Must be a certified fork lift operator.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoad, unload or otherwise move material in and around the distribution warehouse using a forklift, order picker, pallet jack or hand truck, as required. Must be able to stack and/or palletize or otherwise prepare product for storage or shipment. Must be able to weigh and/or physically count to determine quantity received, shipped or otherwise used in movement of product in distribution center.Communication:Must be able to communicate with management to receive daily workload and assignmentsMust be able to communicate with co-workers to complete all warehouse activities through out the workday which includes shipping of Sales Orders and Material Transfer Orders, receiving all inbound product, MTO and RMA as well as shipping supplies.Safety:Must comply with all safety standards and use all safety equipment in the warehouseLean Enterprise:Establish and utilize frameworks and systems, including tools such as visual management, problem solving, standard work and kaizen.Adhere to and promote the HR Pledge.Cooperate and commit in a team environment to achieve goals and deliverables.Resolve difficult or complicated challenges using the problem-solving process.Actively embrace our core principles.CompetenciesProblem solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and skillfully analyzes informationJudgment - Displays a willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisionsPlanning/organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficientlyComputer skills - Must be able to accurately use Windows-based programsHours: Regular 40-hour workweek. Minimal overtime as needed. Must be present when scheduled.Working Conditions: Warehouse environment. Must be able to use cutting tools, hand tools and banding tools and operate wrapping equipment. Must be able to lift material weighing up to 60 lbs., handle product up to 150 lbs. and have full range of body motion. For the purpose of job descriptions, "full range of body motion" is described as bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling or otherwise maneuvering the entire body and the dexterous use of both hands.
