Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
• Evaluate and maintain competency of clinical staff at the unit level
• Support appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Collaborate with facility nursing leadership to uphold clinical standards and patient safety

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Step Down clinical setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage intermediate-acuity patients
• Competency in delegating and supervising nursing staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience supporting nursing leadership or charge nurse responsibilities
• Familiarity with resource management practices in an acute care environment
