Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Stainless Steel Welder: - Perform welding tasks on metal components using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning parts
- Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools
- Record and report any issues or discrepancies in welding tasks
Available shifts: Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements: - Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Experience welding stainless steel in a manufacturing environment
- Experience welding aluminum is a plus
- Ideal candidates should be able to read fabrication drawings
- Produce high-quality welds
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Background check and drug test required
