About the Position

Job Title: Transplant Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekend Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in transplant procedures required License: Must have a valid nursing license prior to start date Certifications: Must have relevant certifications for transplant nursing Must-Have: Experience with liver transplant recipient procedures Availability to work weekend shifts, including Saturday and Sunday, plus one rotating weekday Description: The position involves working in the operating room specifically for transplant procedures. The clinician will be involved in abdominal transplants including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral procedures. The role requires significant experience in transplant-related procedures. Candidates must have strong knowledge and skills pertinent to operating room settings. The clinician may be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliates. Call and holiday shifts are mandatory. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential due to the interdisciplinary nature of the team. All candidates must meet the minimum experience requirements to be considered for this position.
